St Ursula’s Youth Group

What we do on Sundays:

We meet 3 Sundays a month - we start in the church and leave after about 15 minutes - after announcements, some songs and stuff, Father Peter excuses us. Then we go out the back, around the church and upstairs into our own little room.

In Youth Group we talk a lot - we talk about our lives and about things happening now in the world. It’s Bible study, in a fun way, and we connect things that are happening now to what happened in the Bible. Oh, and there are always snacks, because people get hungry on Sunday mornings.

We also like to help out with church services and church events. You can have fun and meet lots of different people. Some of us play instruments in the Music Group. We also help out with the beamer and audio, and one of us is even a server. Once a year we help out with a sleepover too. There’s a lot of jobs to try out.

What we do outside of church:

We do one activity a month, normally on a Friday. We go bowling, have games’ nights, movie nights, play sports, and have parties. Sometimes we even go for a weekend away. It’s really good to get together as a Christian group, where we can feel totally comfortable.

We also have a Facebook group where we learn about what events are coming up, post pictures, we RSVP there for things, and we post our thoughts about issues or anything we want.

How to join us or contact us:

Our Youth Coordinator is Mary McKinley. She’s great.

Email her using this link.
or find her on facebook - she should be the only Mary McKinley in Switzerland

Or, of course, just come to a church service at 10 o’clock and ask!
